Smalldoggies Magazine is your standard content portal-style of website, which relies heavily on fresh, daily, interesting and funny content to develop readership and consistent traffic. And traffic means eyeballs on your advertisements. This is the “second coming” of the magazine, which had its first run as a print and online publication from 2000 – 2004. Started in the summer of 2010, we are already seeing the beginnings of great traffic and many daily unique visitors from our very first article, and things will only get better.

We do what we can to maximize exposure through social media marketing, and our writers are on the front lines of culture, posting work and creating great reputations for themselves in many places around the web. We are offering entry-level, super cheap banner advertising for those of you bold and forward-thinking enough to get in on the ground floor with us. As the site grows and Google performs its quarterly Page Rank updates, our reviews and pages will rise to the top of the Search Engine Results, promising more visitors and more eyeballs on your advertisement or text link. BANNER AND GRAPHIC ADVERTISING:
Featured Advertiser: Home Page 300 X 250
Smalldoggies Magazine is currently accepting featured advertisers. As you can see on the home page, there are three (3) premium advertising opportunities, with spots for 300 x 250 pixel graphic advertisements.
The image at left is an example of a full-size, 300 X 250 pixel graphic block, so you can get a sense of the landscape. The homepage is the main gateway to the site, the page which is most often bookmarked, and because content is aggregated there on a daily basis, this is where readers show up when they want to find new reading material on the site.
Together with the Right Header Graphic and the Top Header Banner Ad, these three ad spaces comprise the sweet spots on Smalldoggies Magazine.

Featured Advertiser: Right Header Graphic 486 X 60 Banner Ad
At the top right of the header graphic which appears on every page of Smalldoggies Magazine, you will see a banner ad, sized at 486 x 60 pixels. This is a premium advertisement and is visible from every corner of the website.

Featured Advertiser: Top Header Banner Ad 728 X 90
This advertisement does not currently live on site at Smalldoggies, but the programming functionality is built in to include it at a moment’s notice. The advertisement banner would exist on every page of the site, directly above the main header graphic that currently marks the top of the page.
This banner ad is sized at 728 x 90 pixels. This is also a premium advertisement and is visible from every corner of the website.

Advertising Within the Site: Right Hand Column Ads (Various Sizes)
The site features an additional layer of internal navigation. For example, each Feature or Column has an internal index page, as you see here. There is a middle column with space for a 120 x 600 Skyscraper Ad. These advertisements will exist only on these internal index pages. Advertisers are welcome to put together a campaign that will include Post- and Page-level right hand column ads, along with these skyscraper ads on Index pages.
A second layer inside the site brings the Post-level advertisement opportunities. Within the right-hand navigation (sidebar at right on every Post and Page within the site), we have spaces for multiple two-row boxes for advertiser buttons that can include four total buttons; these exist on every page and post.
The value of these pages, of course, is through SEO — much of our organic traffic will be targeted directly to the article posts based on keyword phrases for material contained on the page. These internal Posts include: articles, features, interviews, reviews, etc.

These advertisements are square-formatted, standard 150 X 150 pixel buttons, and can be doubled to maximize your exposure (300 pixels wide by up to 300 pixels wide).

TEXT LINK ADVERTISING:
Text link ads are also available on the site. By opting for advertising in this fashion, clients effectively build links to their site, thereby generating improved search engine traffic because of targeted, high value direct links. Currently as of winter 2011, Smalldoggies Magazine has a Google Page Rank of 3. More updates to follow as the site continues to develop over time, and Page Rank is further increased or established throughout the site.
Links are standard, “nofollow” links as per advertiser/webmaster rules online. Because Smalldoggies Magazine is blog-template based, links from the sidebar and home page “Blogroll” areas exist on every page and post, and count across all pages as unique links. We frequently post new content to the site, averaging 2 or more posts every day, consistently. Cost to you: $30 each / month

PAID SITE AND OR PRODUCT REVIEWS
Smalldoggies Magazine does not accept paid reviews of any variety, for products such as literature, music or films. If you are interested in having something reviewed on the site, submit your query through our Contact Page and someone will get back to you. Ideally, we will pair your submission with a writer on our staff if there is interest, and the article will appear on the site within 90 days.
The integrity of our site and the strength of our reviews is clearly dependent on complete honesty. So, we do not accept money for reviews, or to expedite the completion and publishing of reviews. If you would like to offer us a complimentary product or experience, we will gladly take you up on the offer, and will make sure to publish that in a brief disclosure statement at the end of the published review. Regardless, we ensure to our audience of readers that our opinions are exclusively our own, so be prepared.

Typically, we prefer to bundle advertising packages in multi-month deals. Three-, six- and twelve-month packages can be agreed to. Further, it may be most advantageous to you and your business to optimize performance with a two- or three-tiered approach. An example of this would be a text link advertisement paired with a graphic advertising banner in the header.
