Smalldoggies Press Fund Raising and Accounting Made Available
We don’t ask for donations on the site, but when we host the reading series, we pass around a donation jar. In the interest of fair accounting practices and so that we might have as much trust earned with our public as possible, we have decided to keep the accounting of this general Smalldoggies fund transparent and public. With any luck and over time, we hope to raise enough money to fund our press projects, delivering perfect-bound indie press literature back to the community who continues to support our efforts, and the efforts of our fellow publishers.

As of December 2011, Smalldoggies Press General Fund total is: $1,239.00 (The first several copies of each chapbook (#1, #2, #3, #4) have been printed and all costs covered. Donations from the door at readings, as well as all sales of the chapbook, are reflected in this total. Thanks to everyone for coming out to the Blue Monk, and for such strong showing in your donations — this has been a HUGE success!)

Smalldoggies PRESS and Submissions
At this time, Smalldoggies Press is not accepting submissions. In the future, there will be a call for special press projects, which will involve limited run, special edition printed matter, most likely in the form of single or double author books. We will keep you posted, and calls will be made in various places on the site and around the web.

Smalldoggies Magazine Writing Contests
At this time, Smalldoggies Press is not currently running any writing contests for publication on the site. In future, we will host open-call contests for a prize or prizes, including publication to the site. Special Jurors will be managing your submissions, and dates, rules, deadlines, etc. will be announced on the site.
